2019 Was The Year Of The Supersized!

We love a big cooker! And these deserve a lot of love!

Back in March Darren contacted us to say that our Bundy Tube Kit had helped him get his cooker up and running again!

Spares bundy tube kits suitable for use with Aga range cookers"tube kit - Fantastic company I wasn’t 100% sure of the kit I needed. The engineer gave me sound and comprehensive advice over the phone (Matt). The sales team took my order and the kit was with me next day. Thanks for your great support and service. Will definitely come back in the future." Darren ★★★★★

Darren needed a Deep Well Bundy Kit, identified by the fact that it comes out of the side as seen bottom left hand corner.

We loved this job....

A 6 oven red aga range cooker converted and restored by Blake & Bull Uk

What a joy to be asked to re-enamel a 4 oven, a module, and convert to Electrikit too! Our largest restoration to date included the re-enamelling of this module to match the refurbishment of the 4 oven.

We then had the privilege of converting this 4 oven with a boiler unit...

A 4 oven vintage aga range cooker converted to electric how to run an aga range cooker more economicallyThis is a Standard Aga range cooker most probably from the early 1950's; with boiler unit, now dormant. The main body of the machine however, once solid fuel, then gas, is now far more efficient and electric! We so love making these machines current, versatile and cheaper to run!

Katy Boys

Katy is a rural girl at heart. She loves long walks, home cooking, paddling in rivers, warm fires and socks and stomping in leaves with her children. After studying ‘drawing stuff’ at university in Bath, Katy spent 10 years selling wares and managing folk at Habitat in Bath. Welcoming children into her world prompted her to return to drawing things, people and places from home. This led her to us at Blake & Bull and the rest is history. She draws our stuff, provides cuddles for the office dog, and is here to chat to you lovely lot.
