It is National Cream Tea Day!Thanks to the lovely folk over at The Cream Tea Society (now there is a society that I am fully on board with!), we have a whole day in which to indulge in all things baked, creamy, and sticky!
We have this lovely recipe from @stevecooksbakesmakesso that you can bake the perfect sweet scone in an Aga range cooker. The bases of which are browed to perfection on our Heavy Duty baking tray!
The heavy cast iron retains heat brilliantly, and the handcrafted UK made base is thin enough to slide super easily in and out on our ovens cast iron runners.
And now we have a savoury optionfor those who prefer the salty crunch of a quality browned Cheddar cheese. Thanks to Antonia for this tea time treat!
