Can I dry washing on my range cooker and do I need a drying rack?

Yes of course is the answer, with a few caveats! Firstly resting your washing directly on the top of the range cooker can scorch the washing but you can also keep too much heat in the enamel and damage it. That is why an drying rack is a good plan.

These come with a stacker if you have a large family (or run a laundry!)

We also sell a towel rail extender for use with Aga range cookers. Not only does this double your rail space but it keep dangling washing away from the vents that suck air into your cooker. Too much washing to close to the front can put your AGA range cooker out in this way! It will also, sadly, melt your badge in some cases. Too much heat is trapped behind the washing and the badges become hotter than they are designed to be!

These are particularly clever!
