Sarahmoved into her dream house with a head full of ideas! Some are now coming to fruition and we are proud to have played a small part in making her concepts a reality.
Built in 1934, Sarah's period home is full of character and detail.Knowing that there had been a range cooker in situ in the 30's and then following that this handsome post '74,she was keen to get to know the range, learn how to use it and keep it. The buttery cream did not fit into the scheme of her dream kitchen however..
The final result is WOW. The textured tiled splash back coordinates beautifully with the new smooth vitreous enamel, with facets that glint and catch the light, lifting the alcove space. The Fired Earth floor tiles are bold and beautiful, and pull the grey kitchen units into the scheme. Little pops of colour from happy objects like the felt trivet make the room homely, with a kettle poised to make a brew for admiring guests. WE LOVE IT Sarah! Thank you for letting us share your beautiful home!
"We inherited a cream Aga range cooker when we bought this house, It was in the original place that an old range would have sat when the house was built in 1934. I was terrified of it at first but wowsers what a wonderful piece of machinery it is!! We had the colour changed to white a few weeks ago, I’m so glad we kept it, wouldn’t be without it now."
