Sunday always feels like Aga range cooker day to me, especially at this time of year! The temperature has really dropped this week, I went out yesterday on the dog walk in Barbour, hat and gloves - don't know what I'll do when it's really cold!
I had a few questions via e-mail and phone this week and I thought I would write up my answers as blog posts. The first was about what to do with a fine coating of rust on an Aga range cooker's hotplates. The cooker had been off over the summer - impressive resisting temptation to turn on again until now I think!
This got me thinking about why some cookers are more rusty than others and what causes it in the first place. Find out more here.
Finally I had to solve the problem of a wobbly Aga range cooker lid, more info here.
If you have questions about your cooker do drop me a line to matthew@blakeandbull.co.uk and I will do my best to help!
I hope you have a lovely Sunday. If you are planning a Sunday roast (I know I am!) then don't miss my recipe for the best roast potatoes ever (<fact!).
