New AGA range cooker insulation

Ever wondered what your AGA range cooker looks like under the hob? Wonder no more! Below is a 4 oven 60′s vintage AGA range cooker with its top off (so to speak!). The vermiculite is topped up, everything cleaned out where needed and the high temperature wool insulated top blanket replaced as part of my AGA range cooker efficiency improvements. If your hob is too hot to touch anywhere other than the hotplates themselves then you probably need some new insulation like this!
