There is an excitable mood at Blake & Bulltoday! We have received our NEW Cow Parsley fabric sample from our UK makers. Designed in house, from concept to final design, we are quite proud of it! Just a month or so ago I was walking through the hedgerows of Bradford on Avon, collecting small flower heads to come back to the office to draw. Observing little critters crawling amongst the stems and fronds I was tempted pop a few into our pattern.
Ian and I did 20 mins of very serious exploratory work (playing about) with the small clusters of blooms in the early summer sunshine in the yard here at HQ, and liked the shadows that they created. So we popped that in too!
Today is the perfect weather for checking over the finer detail and colours in natural light. All ready for sign off now, into production we go!
