It is a week for copper, Mrs N shared her splash backsand now domes & rails. John originally thought that the copper (a result of having to panel beat old lids) was something that he would have to live with until shiny chromes could be found. Now he has happily "become accustomed to her face" and wouldn't change her. I fully agree, the warm tones suit her and her relaxed 'outdoor kitchen' environment.
I am excited to see John's project come to fruition. An outdoor kitchen, with stunning details. Stained glass, a generous mantle, and his beloved rescued range.
"The stove had been abandoned for several years under a tarp, in a friend's backyard and the lids required panel beating and so we at last came to the copper. We both liked the look, so as a fill in until we could afford new replacements, we went copper. As it turns out, we have become accustomed to her face."
John joins the Farthest Flung Cooker leaderboard, taking second place by only 82 miles as the crow flies.

"Lid return springs Springsarrived only to find that they were not correct for our stove (not B&B’s fault) but the follow up service from Ian was beyond what was necessary. Ian’s service is what any business should aspire to. I cannot enthuse too much. Worth way more than 5 stars!" John, August 2019
