New Year price rises (but your Christmas shopping covered!)

Buy a cooker, book to convert or re-enamel by 21st December and get a £500 Christmas shopping voucher to spend on blakeandbull.co.uk (by 21st December!). Book a refurbishment and get a £250 voucher!

The new year is price rise time again, we do two small rises every year to spread the pain. The headline inflation rate has fallen a touch so the rise won't be an painful as last year (a full 13% in some cases!) but ordering before the price rises will still likely save you several hundred pounds!

On top of this we've a very special offer for you! All confirmed bookings for a new cooker, conversion or re-enamelling will come with a £500 voucher for our online cookshop! All refurbishments booked will get a £200 voucher. You'll need to spend it by the 21st December, we'll deliver all your fun bits and bobs by Christmas!

Its been a tough year for costs in the business. Everything from insurance to electric cabling has increased dramatically in price. We'll complete over double the amount of work (installations, conversions and re-enamelling) in January 2024 compared to January 2023. The great conversion to electric is very much under way and speeding up, perhaps turbo charged now by supply problems for gas Aga cooker spare parts

Our biggest cost at Blake & Bull? Our team. We've supported them through the cost of living crisis (the increase in fuel costs has driven a lot of our growth this year as people move to electric to save money on running costs) with pay rises of 8% and more. We are members of the Living Wage foundation which means no one at Blake & Bull will make less than £12p/h from next April. It's an expensive commitment but a well paid, long serving team is what makes our amazing service possible. The knowledge in this business - and the commitment to doing a job well, is extraordinary.

Blake & Bull is a company that invests for the long term. We want you buy roasting tins and textiles for the next 30 years, we do everything to keep you in our community and look after you and your cooker. Charging a fair price to support our high quality services is part of those investments.
