Just once glance through the instagram feed of @craftshillbarn will make you want to pack a bag, clear your diary, and book!
I especially love her bakes and breakfasts. A while back she kindly gifted us with her granola tips, a morning dish that is devoured by her happy guests.
Now she has endorsed our Fits On Runners Baking trays (how many can you fit in your ovens!?) and shared her squared off scone tip! Have you ever thought of doing this? It goes against tradition, but makes them easier to transport for picnics in square boxes and no waste! Scones do not like being handled too much, so this must help with the bake too!
"Fresh scones are always on the table ready to greet our guests. I’ve started making them square as there’s no wastage or odd ones made of scraps at the end. Does anyone else use an empty butter paper to grease the tin? My favourite tins are from @blakeandbull - no soggy bottoms! Zero waste scones...delicious without the guilt (just ignore the calorie count...)" @craftshillbarn
We think that they look delish, and I think that eating these at your B&B for tea would be pretty wonderful, thank you Crafts Hill Barn!
