Worry not about your wintery wet woollens!

Linda's review got me thinking...

About preparing for washing & storing winter woollens in readiness for spring and summer - anyone else celebrating all the bulbs peeping through the frosty soil?

Dry your woollens flat on a Blake and Bull drying rack for laundry on an aga range cooker

"EXCELLENT - My first purchase from Blake and Bull( followed their website for at least two years ) and thoroughly impressed with the personal service I received. I ordered a single layer drying rack and delighted with both the quality and functionality of this item, wish I had bought one years ago ! I now wash my delicate wool jumpers and dry flat on the rack with huge success. I am a confirmed customer of this amazing Aga range cooker friendly company, especially love the photo gallery and super recipes." Linda

Thank you Linda! So happy to have you as part of the Blake & Bull community! :)

I was wondering, if anyone had tried this as well, but drip drying flat first with one of our racks over a bath? It would depend what type of bathroom set up you have, but resting the rack on the bath with the woollens in the middle could work, allowing them to gently drip dry before fully drying on the rack,on the cooker top. I wonder if our NEW half size rack would work over a kitchen sink too?

I spin my woollens lightly first, but this way is more economical and gentler on the garments..

Do get in touch if you have tried, or go on to try this!

Thank you

Welcoming children into her world prompted her to return to drawing things, people and places from home. This led her to us at Blake & Bull and the rest is history. She draws our stuff, provides cuddles for the office dog, and is here to chat to you lovely lot.
