Bring a little bit of summer and colour to your roast dinner, Christmas or otherwise, with these scrumptious glazed carrots.
Peel the carrots, cut into even sized pieces and put into a pan of cold water.
Cover, bring to the boil, drain then cover and put into the simmering oven for about 15 minutes until tender.
Return the pan to the simmering plate and add the butter, honey, orange rind and seasoning. Shake the pan and then sprinkle in the parsley and serve.
Aga Range Cooker Tips:
- Use the simmering oven in your Aga range cooker, or 130C, 250F or Gas mark 1.
- You can freeze the carrots to be prepared at a later date.
