Our engineers go east to convert a 4 oven post '74 range cooker to Electrikit & carry out a Full Re-Enamel

Under the watchful eyes of this handsome chap, Blake & Bull engineers Mat and Philip set about taking apart, moving, converting & fitting new enamel panels on a post '74 Deluxein Kent this week. There were also a fair few Alpacas keeping watch from a distance outside, all in all, a very enjoyable couple of days work!

Now, if I were there with this pup, I would not have gotten the job done for all the cuddling. But Matt and Philip cracked on...

This fine racing green machine had to move locations so Matt and Philip set about taking it apart. Careful to work clean,  the oven was transferred piece by piece to its new location, just next door in the owners new home to be.

All of the old insulation was removed, leaving the warming cupboard intact, the plinth was moved and now the Blake & Bull boys could start the rebuild..

We use advanced mineral wool insulation, on an Electrikit this wraps around the ovens sides and top to keep the heat in and massively improve efficiency.

Simply put, The best way to improve the efficiency of your cooker, whether solid fuel, oil, gas or even 'traditional' electric, is to convert it to our 'Electrikit' system.

Not only more efficient there are is less fuel associated paraphilia, just a couple of cables here.

Clearly well loved, but in need of a bit of TLC, this beauty was treated to a proper pamper - we fitted re-enamelled black hobs including new black enamel and chrome lids. Small details too like changing the hob caps, make a world of difference to the 'new look'. A replacement warming plate was fitted, instantly reviving the machine - taking years off!

After new towel rails and brackets were installed the oven door liners and rope seals were replaced, & the renovated oven doors popped on their new washers. Re-lining your doors looks great but most importantly improves efficiency!

And here she is, gleaming in her new enamel. Finished off with our exclusive dog textile design, we hope that the house pup will approve!
