The Blake & Bull engineers had a busy week with three jobs to keep them occupied. Wednesday took them to sunny Devon, with picturesque drives through the lanes, flanked by deep banks of hedgerows just waking for Spring.
There was no time to sit and enjoy the burst of warm sunshine though, as a relocation, re-enamel, & conversion of a 2 oven was waiting for them.
Relocation services are something that we can do when converting your cooker to one of our sophisticated and money savingelectric conversions. We can supply an adjustable metal plinth, and as long as new electrics are in place, you will be left with a beautiful working cooker in a day. Much like Maggie was..
The pillar box red enamel on this post-1974 Aga ‘Deluxe’cooker is in lovely condition and well loved, so it was just the hardest working enamel and chrome parts on this beauty that were set for replacement.
The Lid Liner Rope Seals, are coming loose here, almost certainly letting all important cooking heat out. Lid rope seals are covered in a metal mesh that helps them 'bounce back' and gives them longevity. Combine this with new linersand your lids will gleam back at you once again.
Maggie was really pleased with the results, & we think this lovely cooker looks very fine indeed nestled in her new spot!
"A big thank you to the team for such a great job on the conversion of our old Aga. Phillip and Mattwere a joy to have around, Philip was very keen to share his knowledge and we found the whole thing very interesting. They did an amazing job and our Aga range cooker looks like a new one. Thank you."
Thank you Maggie for sharing your home and your kind words, Katy x
