Once in a while, we get to see our clients' kitchen dreams become a reality.
More often than not, we are scheduled fairly near the start of our customers' kitchen design & build. We rarely get to see the refurbished machines in their final setting. 'Dave Hickman Building Services' (based in Wolverhampton) were next in the line in the kitchen design chain for this customer, and he very kindly sent us a treat of a picture of his craftsmanship. But for now...here are the 'before shots'..
When we quote for a Re-Enamelling and Conversion job, we always ask for a snap of your cooker, this way we can date it and work out the technicalities. This post '74 2 Oven Deluxe, was booked in for a new coat of vitreous enamel, an electric conversion, & a relocation.
Love the Saxon Blue colour choice, out of the 37 that we offer, this is top of my list! This is a Full Re-Enamel, every care is taken to leave the client with a cooker that looks and performs like new. New tunnels, door liners, insulation, and rope sealsmake a real impact & save money due to the increased efficiency that new insulation offers. The panel that you catch a glimpse of here on the left is the newly fitted electric panel that sits on the bottom left of a 2 oven range cooker. The Electric conversion gives you far more control when cooking and saves money too on your annual energy bill.
This is how we left her, in her new position, smartly dressed in her new Good DogLid liners. Relocation is fairly comprehensive when we are doing a conversion, as we rebuild your oven from the ground up, ensuring that the inner is fully re-insulatedwith a modern Mineral Fibre blanket to retain as much heat as possible in the ovens themselves.
Get ready for a WOW...
We love your work Dave! What a beautiful result and just in time for the festive season! The tiles at the back sit really well with the Saxon Blue tone, and the warmth of that tactile oak makes the room feel homely. What a great result, and an honour to have been invited to have been part of this project.
