If your range cooker's door or lid seals are hanging off, or have fallen off altogether!, then this is what you need. Using this high temperature glue, suitable even for the hotplate lid seals (rope or steel), you can repair your cooker's seals and restore it's efficiency.
This is enough to fix up to two fully hanging off seals! If you seal it carefully it will last for many months in case you need it again!

Your range cooker's seals perform two functions. They stop the passage of air (into the ovens in the case of the doors and over the hotplates in the case of the lids) but most importantly they also prevent contact heat transfer. Suitable for Aga, Rayburn and Everhot range cookers.
When two pieces of metal are pressed together the hot one will transfer it's heat to the cool one quite well - they want to be the same temperature! The seals are supposed to prevent 'metal on metal' contact and thus that heat transfer.
If you allow it then lots of your cooker's precious heat is bypassing the cooker's insulation in the lids and doors and simply radiating away from the outer part of the door or lid.
