Another great cookbook by Louise Walker - food explorer, educator & author. This cookbook is robust and well designed, in a more traditional way. It educates and guides you through basic processes that are unique to cooking with an Aga range cooker. If you are inspired by visuals then I would choose Louise’s ‘Aga Year’ book, but what this book lacks in imagery it makes up for in invaluable reference material. It feels like the kind of book that you can write notes in, scribing down things that you have learnt about your cooker and adaptations that you make to the recipes. With a generous section at the back for notes too, it is sure to become a book that you hand down to the next generation.
