Woah! It has been a whirlwind these past weeks. I have had many a happy chat with customers, busy in the throws of their mini refurbs. We get a real sense that you lovely lot are being terribly industrious scrubbing, scraping, servicing and repairing in readiness for the dark days and cold weather.

We love seeing the results of our kits, and even better, hearing your tips!

Thank you to Jeremy for sharing these pics of his stunning red 4 oven, and for introducing me to a new tool!

DIY refurbishment repair restore kits suitable for use with an aga range cooker

"I had real fun doing this upgrade, the instructions are very good, the kit is excellent and all the parts supplied are very good quality, I would highly recommend this to anyone who has even a basic set of DIY skills. I have the following tip for removing the stubborn covers on the top, I softened the crud with a little boiling water, used a large sewing needle to clear this out and then used a hand valve lapping with lots of downward force to unscrew the covers, result all 8 out without any damage, could just be luck!."

Katy Boys

Katy is a rural girl at heart. She loves long walks, home cooking, paddling in rivers, warm fires and socks and stomping in leaves with her children. After studying ‘drawing stuff’ at university in Bath, Katy spent 10 years selling wares and managing folk at Habitat in Bath. Welcoming children into her world prompted her to return to drawing things, people and places from home. This led her to us at Blake & Bull and the rest is history. She draws our stuff, provides cuddles for the office dog, and is here to chat to you lovely lot.
