Prices to refurbish Aga range cookers with Blake & Bull® | How much does it cost?

Blake & Bull® refurbish, deep clean and upgrade, almost all Aga range cookers installed since 1941. There are three levels of service, detailed below, for each cooker size. 

The basics | Level One Blake & Bull® refurbishment

Available for all Aga range cookers except Dual Control cookers.

Includes

• A deep & thorough professional clean to all enamel 
• Your ovens wire brushed, hoovered
• Receive a free heavy duty oven liner for each cavity {liner not issued for TC, DC, eControl or 'Electrickit'}
• New door liners, rope seals & insulation
• New lid liners, rope seals & insulation 
• Buff all chrome!
• The bridging tunnels {that join the cast front to cast ovens} cleaned

Optional extra

• Replacement warming plate £112.45 inc fitting (4/5 oven only)

The insulation inside | Level Two Blake & Bull® refurbishment

Available for all Aga range cookers except ER, R, Total Control, 30amp and Dual Control cookers.

Includes all in level 1 plus

• Under hob insulation upgrade. Loose vermiculite top up and new high performance top blanket. 
• Replacement lid chrome tops (Deluxe models only)

Hob top & lids re-enamelled | Level Three Blake & Bull® refurbishment

Available for all Aga range cooker models except ER, R, Total Control, 30amp and Dual Control cookers. There are some flue types we cannot support for level three.

• Plus small travel contribution in some cases

Includes all in Levels 1 & 2 plus

• Complete replacement re-enamelled hob top, lids, towel rail, towel rail brackets and hinge blocks. On an exchange basis
• Replacement warming plate (4/5 oven only)
• N.B. Aga Standards (1941-1972) have a front mounted towel rail so a Level 3 on these models wouldn't include new towel rail brackets or a new towel rail, though the chrome rail will be buffed and polished.

• We'll need some photos of your cooker if you have not already sent these via our form.
• Your cooker must be off, no pilot light, and cold. 
• Most refurbishments take 4 - 8 hours.
• Refurbishment is not a safety check or service. We recommend that you proceed with your annual service and defer to the engineer’s expertise to advise you on matters of safety and legislative compliance.
• We don't clean conventional '6-4' models, Aga Masterchef, or Dual Control Aga range cookers. 30amp night storage Aga range cookers can have stage 1 only.
• If your cooker is coated in a heavy residue, old characterful charm may be revealed once this is removed - chips, scratches, thinning enamel cannot be repaired by cleaning. For this seek out re-enamel restoration.
