Electricity supply requirements | eControl electric Aga range cookers

eControl powered Aga range cookers require the following power supplies.

  • 1 x 32amp (2 & 4 oven Aga range cookers)
  • 1 x 40amp (3 oven Aga range cookers)
  • 1 x 40amp (5 oven cookers and any model with Instaheat upgrade)

Cooker switch should be an accessible outlet box in adjacent cupboard, within 30cm of the Aga range cooker.

The isolator should not be positioned immediately above or behind the cooker, but must be fitted no more than 1ft / 30cm away from the appliance.

The isolator may be separate from the connection point.

Instaheat ceramic instant hotplate upgrade (more info)
  • Does not require an additional supply but ANY model including the Instaheat upgrade requires a 40amp supply.

Before we attend

  • The electricity supply will need to be ready and certified by your electrician. We will bring a handy file in which to store your certificate with your Blake & Bull user information. We will need photos of your electrics once set up.
