Aga DON burner range cookers

'DON burners' are the generic name for converting solid fuel Aga range cookers into oil burners by way of a simple burner in place of the grate in solid fuel cookers. Some say the idea came from a Cambridge DON, hence the name. True? Maybe!

Original conversions have a shallow well burner controlled by, usually, a BM valve. The oil level in the valve need to be level with the burner well so its mounted to the side of the Aga range cooker normally.
