A baby blue Aga range cooker clean and restoration in Wales!

Pete should have gone to this one last week but thanks to a bout of tonsilitis it ended up in my calendar for today! It was a real challenge.

You don't see many all blue Aga range cookers these days and especially not a solid fuel one - not a conversion in sight!

The enamel was quite pitted, a common issue with solid fuels, but the overall effect was quite compelling I think.

I replaced door liners, lid liners, insulation and the thermometer but stuck with most things including the lid tops.

This AGA range cooker is from the 1950's and has a long history with the family so it was nice to keep as much original as possible.

Sadly I did not get a picture of Billy the 16 year old dog - still super sprightly!
