Katy's Observes a Re-Enamelling & Electric Conversion Job!

I own three pairs of overalls, but until now they have had little use, all for show! But yesterday I was deployed to site to observe the Blake and Bull boys doing what we do best. So, I donned my boots, tied back my hair and notebook in hand set off like a new girl at the start of term!

And what a place to work! The perfect day to be driving through the British country side to watch Phil and Matt undertake one of our Electrikit conversions and provide our re-enamelling service. My first job was to use the biggest vacuum cleaner I have ever seen, cleaning up and working clean is what we do, and I want one at home!

Every care was taken to ensure that we were on level ground. The kitchen and house were beautiful. It was a joy to see the pride and care that our customers put into their homes. We discovered a little warming nook in the old stonework whilst cleaning down the area, which both the clients and their gorgeous kitty were excited to see!

In fact the House Felines took an active role keeping us all in check! I think she was a little concerned that Matt had the right front panel!

On deciding our work was purrfect and sure to keep her feline family warm she supervised whilst doing a spot of bird watching in the sunlit farmhouse doorway.

Phil and Matt take care to lift the newly refurbished top and fancy new chrome handles and lids into place. You can achieve the same sparkling new look with our hob top and lid over spare parts. This cooker will now be more efficient and use less energy whilst looking like new!

Part of what we love about our work is being able to offer a service that quickly and cleanly gives the customer a cooker that they can use the same day and looks like new! We cannot wait to see the kitchen when these clients have pulled together their ideas for their country home, I think that I might want to move in!

Katy Boys

Katy Boys

Katy is a rural girl at heart. She loves long walks, home cooking, paddling in rivers, warm fires and socks and stomping in leaves with her children. After studying ‘drawing stuff’ at university in Bath, Katy spent 10 years selling wares and managing folk at Habitat in Bath. Welcoming children into her world prompted her to return to drawing things, people and places from home. This led her to us at Blake & Bull and the rest is history. She draws our stuff, provides cuddles for the office dog, and is here to chat to you lovely lot.
